I'm Mandy, a London director. I direct comedy, branded and long-form, and develop original comedy series. I started in the edit, so I plan every shot knowing how it cuts.
Mandy Celine is a director developing original scripted comedy for TV, with the aim of showrunning. Most recently she was Head of Post & Post Director on Tom Scott's England for Nebula, and her pilot Grow Up! was a ScreenCraft finalist.
She also founded the production company Breadbox Studios.

More than 5,000 videos for YouTube creators and corporate clients, now through my production company Breadbox Studios. It's where I learned what makes people keep watching and what makes them leave.
Filmed and edited how Easter eggs (719K views), glass, paint and hot cross buns are made, through to the Shrew Loo at Kew Gardens. I also filmed a superhero beekeeper suit built by the team behind the Avengers costumes, and made the video assets for Maddie's Very Curious Christmas, her Olivier-nominated West End show at the Apollo and Garrick Theatres. She's lovely, and it shows on screen.

The BBC commissioned me to make two short documentaries for Make It Digital, each profiling a person working in digital. The brief was open as long as it fit the house style, so I directed, shot and edited both myself. Featured here: The Creator, with Laurbubble, which ran on BBC iPlayer.

Founded by Brian Firenzi, 5SecondFilms relaunched during the pandemic as vertical comedy for socials and found a whole new audience. I shoot with their British unit when the sketches come to the UK.

Directing and shooting campaigns for brands including Trinny London, Jecca Blac and Etsy. Texture, light and colour, close enough that you can almost feel the product. It's my favourite kind of shoot.

Stand-up
A very well-known comedian once told me that to be an authority on funny, I should prove I'm funny.
So I started doing stand-up. Topics include my husband, funerals and the many ways my family are dysfunctional. And it's ok, you're allowed to laugh.
