hey, I am mandy!
Mandy Celine is a London-based director and creative post leader working across comedy, long-form and editorial storytelling.
Starting her career as an editor, Mandy spent the last 15 years building experience across post-production, cinematography and directing, developing a deep understanding of storytelling from concept through to final delivery. Her background across editing and post has shaped her directing approach, giving her a strong understanding of rhythm, performance, tone and production workflows from both a creative and technical perspective.
Alongside directing, Mandy founded Breadbox Studios, a production and post company built to create paid opportunities and meaningful industry experience for emerging creatives from different backgrounds at a time when access to the industry increasingly relies on unpaid labour and existing connections.
Most recently, Mandy served as Head of Post & Post Director on Tom Scott’s premium factual series England, overseeing post-production across all 41 episodes. The production was delivered across an ambitious seven-month schedule with weekly releases from March 2026.
The scale and pace of the project helped establish Mandy’s growing reputation as a creative post leader working across ambitious long-form productions and complex editorial workflows.
Mandy has collaborated with brands and organisations including Adobe, Epidemic Sound, BBC, YouTube UK and The Photography & Video Show, MPTS alongside consulting directly with Adobe on Premiere Pro workflows and post-production systems.
Outside of commissioned work, Mandy is developing original television projects spanning comedy and drama. Her pilot Grow Up! was a finalist in the 2022 ScreenCraft TV Pilot Competition, semifinalist for Final Draft Big Break 2023 and second rounder at Austin Film Festival 2024.
Mandy was also shortlisted for Best Director at the 2022 Shiny Awards, with her directing and editorial work screening internationally, including at HollyShorts at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Her music video for Epidemic Sound artist Snake City received a nomination for Best Editing at the 2023 BMVAs.
Mandy’s work is often rooted in character-led storytelling, blending comedy, emotionally messy realism and contemporary identity with cinematic editorial pacing.

Mandy oversaw the complete end-to-end post-production pipeline across the series while production was still actively filming, helping shape the editorial identity, pacing and creative workflow across an ambitious seven-month delivery schedule.

A music video designed around the illusion of a continuous one-shot, following a woman reliving the emotional aftermath of four toxic relationships as she gradually finds peace in leaving them behind.
Directed and edited by Mandy for Epidemic Sound artist Snake City, the project used hidden editorial transitions and evolving environments to move seamlessly between memories and emotional states, with the longest uninterrupted take running for 58 seconds across the film’s 3-minute runtime. The video later screened internationally at HollyShorts at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles and received a nomination for Best Editing at the 2023 BMVAs.
